I am just wondering how it feels to have 18 important and good wishes on the list. I mean, teenagers like me who are turning 18 , as I have observed, were very excited in their 18th birthday. What’s with 18 by the way? Anything.
Some people say, that the death of Rizal is my birth. December 30. I was born 1993, Rizal died earlier. Well, never mind the year, dude. JUST the date please? ( hehehe.. ) It matters , anyhow. Bleee!
Okay. I am excited ( really??). I do not know. We may have different levels of excitement but one thing is for sure : we all never miss a wish/es. Here’s mine !
18-I WISH I could have the complete set of Perc y Jackson and the Olympian’s series in my bookshelf
17-I WISH that someday I will be a lawyer ( to be true, I want to work in the Senate :P )
16-I WISH that I’ll continue my piano lessons ( I was so sad, I had to stop).
15-I WISH that my AB Masscom classmates and batchmates will survive this course, at the right time. (go go go ! J
14-I WISH that my close friends will have the courage and happiness in life. ( I cannot afford to see them weak)
13-I WISH that my family and loved ones will stay healthy, safe and happy. ( my life.. oh maaai.)
12-I WISH that our NSTP project will turn out great! ( yes, yes.. been praying. O.0 )
11-I WISH that the Philippines will be progressive in the near future. ( all the time, I’m wishing for this to happen)
10-I WISH that people will set aside too much industrial mentality and instead give love for our environment. ( Mother Earth is crying. L)
9-I WISH that Filipino students would go to school because they want to learn and not just to study. ( guys, please.. Learning is life. )
8-I WISH that education is free. ( if only, right now. Right here.)
7-I WISH that the nation will be peaceful and loving. ( let’s do it people!)
6-I WISH that people will never lose hope. ( Never never never! )
5-I WISh that every person would detach from being too materialistic. ( Gradually.. )
4-I WISH nothing but love, time and hope for the world. ( check! )
3-I WISH all of us would do the same. ( can we? Of course , we can! )
2-I WISH that human rights is properly exercised. ( this, may be hard. But super possible! :D
1-I WISH that I could serve the oppressed with my whole life and heart. ( this is not just my wish; THIS IS MY GOAL)
I bet you’re thinking that I am weird. Or say, whatever. But I spend an hour reflecting for these wishes. From 56 wishes, I reduced it to 32. Then deleted other 10. Then merged the other 4. Now, it’s 18. These matters to me. These, honestly are my wishes. Because these wishes bests encapsulates my character as “a teen”- ( eighteen/ 18) ! =)
